Proud of this crew, most of whom started research for the first time in September. In the pasts few months they have developed the skills to collectively extract DNA from hundreds of red blood cell samples, run PCR and gel electrophoresis to genetically sex chicks, and are each ready to pursue different projects about behavior and physiology of kittiwakes (and capuchins!) in the coming semesters.
